The fight broke out between two motorcycle clubs. The club members had met up to ease tensions after arguments on social media between them following plans to merge the two clubs. However, things merely escalated during the face-to-face meeting, resulting in violence.
It is learnt that the two gangs were popular among mat rempit and motorcycle enthusiasts as both were formed in the 1990s and early 2000 respectively. The two gangs met at the restaurant at about 10pm on Tuesday following their exchange over the social media site.
