Mobile police have identified 43-year-old Andre Moore as the man who barricaded himself inside a relative’s home along with other family members.According to police, officers were dispatched around 11:19 a.

m. to the 1600 block of Brill Road regarding a report of shots fired. Police said Moore visited a relative’s home, fired one shot while inside the residence, then barricaded himself and other family members inside. Police said they were able to convince Moore to come out and he was arrested with further incident and taken to the Mobile County Metro Jail.Moore, of Mobile, faces numerous charges, including third-degree domestic violence, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, menacing, reckless endangerment and certain persons forbidden to possess a gun. He also and a number of active warrants, according to jail records.) - Mobile police say a man barricaded himself in a home near Dauphin Island Parkway Saturday morning, but police were able to resolve the situation peacefully.“On Saturday, February 28, 2026, at approximately 11:19 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Brill Road in reference to shots fired.
