MEMBERS of church group devotees of the Black Nazarene filed charges against drag performer Pura Luka Vega for the latter’s recent “controversial” acts.
“Anyone can file against the drag performer on the basis of existing laws that may have been violated,” Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines executive secretary Fr. Jerome Secillano told the BusinessMirror. In addition, in some of Vega’s social media posts, the performer impersonated Jesus Christ through photos and videos, the complainants said.
