Quentin Tarantino is hard at work on his next film, The Movie Critic, which could be his last. What is it about and when will it be released?
With Quentin Tarantino preparing to shoot his new film, The Movie Critic, there are a few details everyone should know about the project. Tarantino famously plans to retire after 10 movies . Since he counts the two-part Kill Bill as one movie – and movies like True Romance, Natural Born Killers, and From Dusk Till Dawn were written by Tarantino but not directed by him – he currently has nine films under his belt, meaning his next one could be his last.
For Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, his first film after cutting ties with Weinstein, Tarantino teamed up with Sony, whose executives were amiable partners in securing a hefty budget, a generous production schedule, and a wide theatrical release. Since Tarantino forged a strong relationship with the studio on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Sony will probably get first choice on The Movie Critic.
The Movie Critic Cast No casting has been announced for The Movie Critic yet, but Tarantino tends to work with a lot of the same actors. If The Movie Critic will really be the last film that he directs, then it’ll be Tarantino’s last chance to work with frequent collaborators like Tim Roth, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson.
