The Queensland government is trying to “seem less of an obnoxious polluter” with its coal mines, according to The Australian’s Chris Mitchell.

“I support the coal mining industry, and I support our export industries,” he told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“But part of their plan is to get the Millmerran power plant – which is one of the biggest coal-fired power plants in Queensland to trial 110,000 tonnes of CO2 liquified each year trucked out to Mooney, on the Western Downs and drilled to the aquifer there.”
