Police in Queens are searching for the hit-and-run driver who struck and critically injured a pedestrian early on Monday morning.
Law enforcement sources said the incident happened at about 4:50 a.m. on Nov. 21 at the intersection of Woodhaven Boulevard and 91st Avenue in Woodhaven., in responding to a 911 call, found the pedestrian victim, a 54-year-old woman, at the scene with severe injuries.According to reports on theapp, the victim was hit as she attempted to cross Woodhaven Boulevard by a gray sedan traveling northbound on the wide roadway.
Following the collision, Citizen reported, the driver and vehicle fled the scene, continuing northbound on Woodhaven Boulevard.Anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run can call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS .
