The coffin of Queen Elizabeth II has arrived at Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh, following a more than six-hour drive from Balmoral.
The queen's daughter, Princess Anne, her husband, Sir Timothy Lawrence, the minister of Crathie Kirk church and a representative of the office of Lord Chamberlain, the senior officer of the Royal Household, were part of the convoy that escorted the coffin from Balmoral.The hearse procession carrying Queen Elizabeth II crosses the Queensferry Crossing near Edinburgh on her final journey from the Balmoral Estate, Sept. 11, 2022.
More than 50 tractors were parked on both sides of the narrow country roadway and farmers stood alongside the route to pay respects to the queen as her coffin went by. A source close to the Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, confirms to ABC News that he and his daughters will look after Queen Elizabeth II's corgis.
Ferguson and the queen bonded over long walks with their dogs and horseback riding, even after she and Andrew divorced in 1996.
