KOTA KINABALU: Outpatient services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), as well as the green zone in the emergency department will be taken over by nearby government health clinics in stages from March 19.
Sabah Health director Datuk Christina Rundi said the move was to cope with the larger number of people coming in to the main hospital for Covid-19 testing.
She said the health clinics – in Luyang, Inanam, Manggatal and Telipok – would be used for outpatient services and, with the exception of Telipok, will be open from 8am to midnight. The city’s neighbouring Penampang and Putatan health clinics will also be open from 8am to midnight.
