So, We’re not going to be able to preserve some of these glaciers because of climate warming. They’re melting away. But we can build awareness of the loss of snow and ice and the need to limit global warming. We need better observations, we need to predict what’s happening and we need to use that information to protect the communities that are impacted by this. It’s freshwater for half the world’s population.
