SIBU: A five-foot-long python was caught by Civil Defense Force personnel after it frightened a family in Jalan Bandung on Wednesday (Jan 4).
The woman quickly called up the Malaysian Civil Defense Force for help.
Sibu District Civil Defense Force officer Lt. M Franklin Blikau said his side received an emergency call from the woman at 10.29am."Arriving at the scene, APM members found a five-foot-long python still in a pile of wood behind the complainant's house," he said."The python was then taken to the Sibu District APM Office before being released in its original habitat, which is in a safe forested area and away from the population," he added.
