The cast of the 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference got finally completed after the penultimate day of the elimination round on Tuesday, March 14 at the University of San Agustin Gym in Iloilo.
Creamline and F2 Logistics secured their semis seats prior to these Iloilo games, which Petro Gazz and PLDT used to join the said two teams in the final four.The Angels seized their semis spot after booting the Chery Tiggo Crossovers, 25-21, 28-26, 25-21, and improving to 6-2 with 19 points, second best in the league.
Grethcel Soltones pumped in 14 points on 10 attacks, three service aces, and one block laced with nine excellent digs to lead the Angels, while Mylene Paat carried the fight for the Crossovers with 15 markers and 12 digs.In the non-bearing game of the day, the semis-bound Creamline Cool Smashers turned back the already-eliminated Akari Chargers, 25-17, 25-22, 27-29, 25-8.
