The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office continues the desperate search for 1-year-old Jose Lara, who was reported missing Sunday afternoon after disappearing from his family’s back yard.

Deputies said the boy was last seen in the 2900 block of U.S. Highway 17 South, near the Volusia County line, in Crescent City. Jose was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and blue shoes. The child speaks both Spanish and English.
