Putnam County Sheriff: Deputy opened fire after seeing woman attacked with knife
Putnam County Sheriff Kevin J. McConville said the incident began as a call to respond to domestic violence and an apparent abduction. According to the sheriff's office, responding officers saw the man attacking the woman with a knife, and to save her live, deputies opened fire.
