An explosive device has derailed a Russian freight train believed to be carrying oil and construction materials to the front line in Ukraine.

Ukrainian intelligence has hinted its troops are directly behind a number of acts of sabotage that have taken place on Russian soil

The route has previously been used for transporting military supplies to Russian forces fighting in Ukraine.Russian authorities claim the border region, between Belarus to the west and Ukraine to the south, has witnessed repeated attacks since February of last year.
