Five other pupils have spoken out over incidents of corporal punishment since the police began an investigation.
A 10-year-old pupil at the centre was taken to hospital by the centre management on April 1, he said in a statement. When hospital staff decided that the boy should be admitted for treatment, the 25-year-old principal insisted that he wanted to stay with him. During treatment, hospital staff noticed severe injuries on the pupil's buttocks.Other injuries were also noticed on the boy.
