Dinenno marcó un tanto a los 42, de penal, y agregó otra anotación, de cabeza a los 68 minutos. El paraguayo Emanuel Gularte convirtió en su propia portería a los 25 minutos y el brasileño Nathan Silva sumó un tanto a los 50.
Los siguientes cuatro se enfrentan en una reclasificación para completar los cuartos de final. Los Rayos, que tenían una racha de cuatro partidos sin derrotas, se quedó con ocho unidades y ocupa el fondo de la tabla. Con un gol de Robert Morales en los descuentos, el Toluca arañó un empate de 1-1 ante el campeón Tigres, que se mantiene en el segundo puesto.
