Puma CEO says the partnership with ManCity is ‘the largest deal that we have ever done’

BERLIN—Puma SE will become the official uniform supplier to reigning English Premier League soccer champions Manchester City, the company said Thursday, as the German sportswear maker takes one of the sport’s most prized assets from industry leader Nike Inc.

The deal is among Puma’s most aggressive marketing moves in recent months, including relaunching a U.S. basketball division and signing four top NBA draft picks in 2018.
