“I’ve run in Puma’s Faas 100, 800, Hybrid Astro, and Speed 500, and I think they can be great for interval training, speedwork, and even hill workouts. Looking at the Speed 500, you’d think it would be hard or not have enough cushioning, but this isn’t the case. My heel seems to sink into the back of the shoe if I really pay attention, but transitioning to my forefoot, the shoe snaps back pretty quickly for the next step, so the push-off feels solid.
