Award-winning cartoonist Darrin Bell was arrested for allegedly possessing child pornography. Authorities claim to have found 134 videos on his computer linked to his account. Bell is in prison awaiting a court appearance and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipped off authorities.
Darrin Bell, a multiple award-winning, left-wing cartoonist, was arrested Wednesday in Sacramento County for allegedly holding videos of child pornography on his computer.
Bell won a Pulitzer for his editorial cartooning in 2019, the first black man to do so, and is syndicated by King Features. The ICAC “conducted an investigation stemming from a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children related to someone uploading Child Sex Abuse Material , also referred to as child pornography.”
