Kevin Conrad of Pueblo pleaded guilty to producing child sexual assault material after admitting to sexually assaulting a child under five years old. He also agreed to pay $50,000 in restitution to the victim and register as a sex offender.
Kevin Conrad of Pueblo accepted a plea deal in October 2024, pleading guilty to one count of production of child sexual assault material. Two other charges were dropped as part of the agreement. If Conrad is released, he will be required to register as a sex offender and must pay $50,000 in restitution to the victim, according to court documents. Conrad's arrest stemmed from an unrelated traffic warrant in October 2022.
Federal law enforcement agents questioned him, and he admitted to producing a video of himself sexually assaulting a child under the age of five a year earlier. A joint investigation by the FBI and local Pueblo law enforcement uncovered hundreds of screenshots and five to ten photos of child sexual assault material sent through Facebook Messenger using Conrad's phone. A grand jury indicted him in June 2023 on one count each of production, possession, and distribution of child sexual assault material.As part of his plea agreement, Conrad also admitted to distributing child sexual assault material and allowing a minor to perform sexual acts on him. The charges related to possession and distribution of child sexual assault material were dropped as part of the plea deal
