👷‍♀️Public servants to down tools again next Tuesday after the deadlock in wage negations, as they demand salary increases of above the inflation rate. Catch up on the latest with the strike: publicservantsstrike

The briefing was held at the offices of the Public Service Coordinating Bargaining Council in Centurion. The labour union federations represent more than 700 000 workers in the public sector.They announced their affiliate unions would embark on a national day of action on 22 November across all provinces.

This follows government’s decision to renege on implementing the final year of the three-year wage agreement in 2018.
