KZN SACP in solidarity with workers
The unions say the public servants' right to strike should be protected.The SACP in KwaZulu-Natal though says it supports the union.The party's second-deputy provincial secretary in the province, Bheki Shandu, has also appealed to the leadership of Nehawu to give a proper leadership to the strikers.
"We are fully supporting the struggle of our workers against their employers but what becomes important is that we are expecting the workers themselves to demonstrate and picket within the ambit of the law," Shandu said.
