Police investigating the disappearance of a man last seen 38 years ago have issued an appeal for information on his 61st birthday.

Tuesday, March 12 marked his 61st birthday, with a new appeal issued from police stating that the years since his disappearance have been difficult for his family and friends.The PSNI reopened the investigation into his disappearance last year, with his relatives aiding the search by providing DNA samples.

"David had been staying with his grandmother in Ballymacash in the days leading up to his disappearance and is described as being 5’ 10” tall, of slim build, with brown hair and brown eyes at the time. David also has a scar on the palm of his left hand.
