Footage has appeared online
The footage appears to show a man and a woman involved in an altercation at the junction of Sandy Row and Donegall Road before the man falls to the ground unconscious beside an ambulance on Wednesday, July 12.
Police have said that they are aware of the footage but it is understood that the incident has not been reported to them.The extent of the man's injuries are not yet known. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are aware of footage relating to an incident circulating online. Enquiries are ongoing." Police are also investigating reports of a serious sexual assault in the Donegall Road area on Wednesday, July 12.A spokesperson said: "Police received a report of a serious sexual assault which occurred at the Donegall Road area of south Belfast on Wednesday 12th July. One male was arrested and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
