Promotion Play-offs leaders University of Pretoria dropped points for the second straight game after drawing 1-1 with Cape Town All Stars on Wednesday afternoon.
Following a quiet start, AmaTuks threatened through a snap shot outside the area from Samuel Julies but Jacobs parried and clattered into the post while at it. All Stars were finally breached a minute before halftime after miscommunication in defence had Thabang Sibanyoni nick possession of goalkeeper Jacobs and slotted into an empty net.Three changes from All Stars ahead of the second half saw Sabelo Nyembe, Ndiviwe Mdabuka and veteran midfielder Michael Morton come on in an effort to change the complexion of the match.
Igugu Le Kapa made use of the alterations 55 minutes on the clock as Mdabuka headed a floated delivery at the back-post of the six-yard area into the near post of the net.
