PSG are known to have the one of the biggest wage bills in Europe, with the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar said to take up a huge chunk of their payroll.
Per the report, Galtier was only the sixth-best-paid coach in the division when he guided Lille to the French league title two years ago, and his salary doubled to €330 000 when he made the move to OGC Nice ahead of the 2021/22 campaign. While the 56-year-old tops the French chart by quite a distance, he earna significantly less than his predecessor at the Parc des Princes Mauricio Pochettino, who took home a steep €1.1 million a month during his year and a half in charge.
