The PS VR2 may get official PC support within the year, according to a small except within a PlayStation Blog post announcing new VR games.
While it is no surprise that PlayStation made its own PS VR2 headset exclusive to its own console, it's still a minor bummer to enthusiasts who were looking to get more use out of the headset. While it has been mostly a pipe dream until now, the company may have such plans in the pipeline.
In a PlayStation Blog post announcing new PS VR2 titles, the Sony video games subsidiary snuck in a mention of a possibility of using the headset with PC. The exact language in the blog post is a tad strange, and perhaps intentionally vague. Specifically, it reads 'we are currently testing the ability for PS VR2 players to access additional games on PC to offer even more gameplay variety in addition to the PS VR2 titles available through PS5'.
