Protesters killed in Caledon eNCA
Police are monitoring the situation in Caledon in the Western Cape on Friday.
CALEDON - Residents of Caledon in the Western Cape say they woke up to a cloud of teargas following violent protests on Thursday. There is heavy police in the area on Friday after two people were killed and one wounded during the protest.Two protesters were shot and killed in the process.The Independent Police Investigative Directorate is investigating the matter.
Residents have handed over a memorandum to municipal officials and have given them seven days to respond.
