A march saw demonstrators go from All Saints, past the conference centre, to Castlefield Bowl
thousands attended a 'national demonstration' and 'Festival of Resistance' organised by campaign group The People's Assembly
. Starting at noon at All Saints Park on Oxford Road, activists and speakers from across trade union movements attended. A march took protesters from Oxford Road, turning left onto Chepstow Street by McDonald's. Protesters then headed onto Great Bridgewater Street; turning left at the Britons Protection onto the A5103; right onto Whitworth Street West; right onto Deansgate; left onto Liverpool Road; left onto Duke Street, then Rice Street, ending at Castlefield Bowl.
Thousands attended, some with signs and masks depicting the Prime Minister and other member of the Conservative Party, whilst others chanted as they made their way around the city centre. Different coloured flares were also set off during the march.
