In one attack, tents for displaced people were struck, trapping many in flaming debris, the Associated Press“The world watched with horror as Israel bombed a displaced person camp in Rafah, killing 45 people and injuring hundreds,” stated a press release by the protest’s organizers. “As heads of state, aid agencies, and the United Nations have been saying for months, attacking Rafah is a violation of international law.”The protest in front of the White House is one of many that have taken over D.C.’s streets, calling for an end to the United States aid to Israel. In one reverberating sound, protesters chanted, “Free, free, Palestine!”
