0:22The Town of Hempstead Water Department says Prospect Avenue will reopen today, after a crew lays down asphalt. The road has been closed from Evergreen Lane to Chestnut Lane for hours following a 14-inch water main break.
Reinhardt told News 12 that this is the third water main break on Prospect Avenue in 5 years. He says to it will be top priority when planning the budget in the coming months.
