Prosecutor IDs man who died following early morning N.J. fire
Mazelis was rescued from the first floor where the fire is believed to have originated, Pfeiffer said.
A 53-year-old woman was also rescued from the blaze on Sunday. She was found on the second floor and taken to St. Luke’s Warren Hospital for medical attention. Her condition is unknown. Firefighters from all six town fire companies responded, and crews arrived to see flames shooting from the first floor of the house and heavy smoke.
