The focus for a San Antonio women and dozens of other petitioners is to collect 20,000 verified signatures before their Jan. 10 deadline to decriminalize abortion through a charter amendment.
SAN ANTONIO — Aramis Miller spends her weekdays at malls and shopping centers talking to people.
“If you don’t vote, you have no say. If you do vote, make sure you know what are you voting for,” Miller said. “It doesn’t make any sense to put people in jail for small amounts of marijuana,” she said. “I absolutely wanted my baby, and that was my choice to make. No one forced me to have her and nobody forced me to get rid of her,” Miller said to a couple at the mall.
