Civil rights attorney Ben Crump speaks at a press conference in San Marcos, Texas, on Monday Jan. 2, 2023, where he demanded the release of law enforcement body camera video of the fatal shooting of Joshua Wright. Wright was fatally shot by a corrections officer at Ascension Seton Hays Hospital in Kyle, Texas, on Dec 12.
Pastrano said Wright, whose legs were shackled, attempted to escape but was shot several times by an officer.
