Two suspects have been apprehended by the Santa Clara Police Department in connection with a string of burglaries targeting storage units within an apartment complex. The suspects, identified as prolific burglars, were allegedly responsible for multiple burglaries spanning from October 2024 to January 2025. During this period, they targeted storage units , employing sophisticated methods to gain access without leaving any signs of forced entry.

The stolen property, valued in the thousands of dollars, included a wide array of items such as laptops, tablets, gaming systems, drones, e-bikes, power tools, handbags, clothing, and personal identification documents like passports, credit cards, and birth certificates. Some victims reported losses exceeding $10,000 due to the repeated burglaries. Detectives utilized surveillance footage to track some of the stolen goods, leading them to a specific area within the city where further surveillance confirmed the suspects' involvement. The investigation culminated in the execution of warrants at two apartments and five storage units in both San Jose and Santa Clara on Tuesday. The operation, spearheaded by plainclothes officers and property crime detectives, resulted in the arrest of both suspects. A substantial amount of the stolen property was recovered during the search of the properties. Further details regarding the suspects' identities and the specific charges against them were not disclosed by the police
