Gerard HooksHooks, who was 76 years old at the time of his death, was convicted at Falkirk Sheriff Court one year prior to his passing.The Fatal Accident Inquiry will be held at Glasgow Sheriff Court later this year to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
A preliminary hearing will take place on May 22. The dates fixed for the inquiry will be November 6 and 7. A second investigation has also been launched into the death of Darryl Goodwin, who died in police custody.
