Building on WRC heritage and the 22B, Pro-Drive honors Subaru's pinnacle Impreza WRX model.
A six-speed X-shift sequential gearbox allows for paddle shifting through its helical gears while an active center differential plus limited-slip front and rear differentials control the power output. Bilstein provides the two-way adjustable dampers and AP Racing supplies the biting six-piston front and four-piston rear brake hardware. In a final mechanical touch, a WRC-style fly-off handbrake has been added, which will automatically disengage the center differential when pulled.
All 25 of the coming units have already been sold, and delivery is expected to begin in the next few months. Before they are delivered, will run the prototype through 12 weeks of hard testing, then take apart the engine and calibrate the final power output and service intervals. Once complete, the pre-paid P25 customers will begin receiving their one-of-a-kind replicas, available in left- and right-hand drive.
