Pro-Anwar group defends appointment of PKR MP to govt agency FMTNews
PKR MP Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh can implement reforms, according to Otai Reformis, a pro-Anwar Ibrahim group.
Otai Reformis 98 said Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh’s appointment was important for a fledgling unity government as he was someone who could carry out needed reforms, especially in combating graft. “It’s compulsory to have someone who understands the reform agenda and the Madani concept that the prime minister espouses,” he told FMT, referring to the government’s guiding principles.Syed Ibrahim is the latest in a string of political appointments which have come under fire, especially from NGOs.
