'I don’t have private healthcare, never have'. Labour's AngelaRayner tells Sky's BethRigby the PM 'should tell the public' if he's registered with a private GP. Rigby 🟣 Watch the full interview at 9pm on Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube

"I have to compromise as part of the team," the deputy leader said."There are things I don't always get.

"Principles are important, I've got those principles and I actually think those principles will deliver. But it is also important that people can see you have got a radical plan, but a realistic and responsible plan."When it came to the pressing issue of the NHS, Ms Rayner would not commit to investing more money into the service - instead telling Beth Rigby"it is about where the money is going".

And while she wouldn't be drawn on the exact tax plans - saying she didn't want to steal shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves'"thunder" - Ms Rayner hinted at targeting the profits of landlords and stuck by her"principle... that those with broadest shoulders should pay more".The deputy leader - a former care worker who grew up on a council estate near Manchester - also reflected on her journey to the top of a party that could be a government in waiting.

But now, when it comes to facing ministers at the dispatch box who have always aimed for government, and been educated at the country's top public schools, she does not feel inadequate.
