The Chinese Institutes for Medical Research, Beijing is a brand-new research institution in Beijing, China. Its goal is to make ground-breaking discoveries in medical sciences and facilitate the translation of these discoveries into innovative products for patient care. Closely associated with and physically located on the campus of Capital Medical University , it will leverage the exceptionally rich clinical resources available at the 20 CMU-affiliated hospitals.
The Institute for Molecular and Cellular Therapy within the CIMR is now looking for outstanding scientists at all ranks interested in developing novel therapeutics in all disease areas. Those engaged in all areas of medical research, including but not limited to those interested in treating major diseases such as
cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases, as well as those interested in rare diseases , are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in those candidates who have experience developing novel molecular and cellular technologies that may aid therapeutics development. Successful candidates will have opportunities to collaborate with clinical colleagues in the Capital Medical University-Affiliated Hospitals and have access to a broad range of patient samples to conduct basic and translational research.Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D.
