Though Prince William attended day two of the week-long horse racing extravaganza without Kate Middleton, he was able to reunite with his family during Wednesday’s carriage procession.
During day one of Ascot on Tuesday, Eugenie wore a mint green dress by Diane von Furstenburg, accessorizing with a bespoke Emily London Siniang hat and the diamond and emerald earrings she got as a wedding present from husband Jack Brooksbank. On Tuesday, the royals were also joined by Lady Gabriella Kingston, returning to the event for the first time since the death of her husband, Thomas Kingston, in late February.
She was also spotted visiting with the family during the Trooping the Colour festivities on Friday, and last month the Daily Mail reported that the king invited her personally as a show of support. Wednesday was a day for a reunion of the royal cousins. Eugenie, Zara, and William were joined by Princess Beatrice and Zara’s brother Peter Phillips. Though Kate stayed at home, William attended alongside his in-laws Michael and Carole Middleton.
