Princess Eugenie and her husband expecting second child
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their second child, Buckingham Palace announced Tuesday.
The pair, who are already parents to nearly-2-year-old son August, will welcome their new arrival in the summer. “Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer,” the palace said in a statement.Announcing the newsPrincess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank tied the knot in 2018.“We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” she captioned the snap.
The baby will be 13th in line to the British throne and the third grandchild of Eugenie’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.In addition to August, Prince Andrew and Ferguson are also grandparents to Princess Beatrice’s young daughter Sienna, who was born in September 2021. with her husband Jack, 36, in February 2021. The pair tied the knot in October 2018, 9 months after Jack popped the question.
The princess included a subtle tribute to her late grandfather, Prince Philip, in her son’s full name: August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.
