Royal expert Ingrid Seward says that Princess Charlotte is being 'protective' of her mom Kate Middleton and helping to 'take care' of her as she recovers from her cancer treatment.

According to a source close to the family,is playing a sweet role and helping to look after her mother.
"I think that Charlotte is really taking care of her mum," Seward shared. "It was quite sweet the way she stood in front of her and they kept chatting. Charlotte seems to be very full of admiration for her mother, which I think is a lovely thing, too."Seward compared Kate and Charlotte's relationship to the one Kate shares with her own mother, saying that she's continuing her family's sweet tradition of a close-knit bond between mother and daughter.
"Kate and Charlotte are great friends and I think to Kate, their bond is very precious," Seward finished. "The mother-daughter relationship is obviously particularly important to Kate because she has such a close relationship with her own mother."In a sweet example of their mommy-and-me dynamic, Seward pointed out that while the duo was arriving at Trooping the Colour, Charlotte and Kate wiped down the carriage windows together so that they could wave to well-wishers.
