Princess Catherine's annual Christmas carol service saw the involvement of Lady Gabriella Windsor, who assisted with planning and performer selection. Lady Gabriella, known for her singing and songwriting experience, was deeply touched by the invitation. The service also highlighted the work of Restore the Music, a nonprofit supporting music education.
Middleton, 42, reached out to Lady Gabriella, 43, over the summer after news emerged that her husband, whom she wed in 2019, died in Gloucestershire, England, in February. He was 45.It was reported that Lady Gabriella, who is the daughter of the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, was touched that the beloved royal had asked her to take part in the planning.
Lady Gabriella ultimately invited singer Gregory Porter and pianist Rosey Chan to perform at the festive concert. A poem was read out by Tony winner Sophie Okonedo.In addition to leading the selection process of performers, Lady Gabriella engaged Restore the Music, a nonprofit organization supporting music education for the youth.
