At tonight’s 2023 Oscars, The Little Mermaid star HalleBailey embraced her role with an aqua gown by dolcegabbana worthy of a Disney princess. See all the details on her look here:
, The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey embraced her role with an aqua gown worthy of a Disney princess. As a presenter this evening, Bailey couldn’t help but pay homage to her major transformation into the mermaid Ariel later this year . You can practically hear her singing "Wish I could be, part of that world!"
One could easily imagine Ariel wearing Bailey's ethereal blue Dolce & Gabbana gown, all the while singing under the sea. Her strapless dress was made of a frothy sheer tulle and featured a structured corset at the bodice to give it shape. Ariel—or Cinderella, who is famous for her blue gown—would be proud. Around her neck was also a simple diamond necklace that allowed her dress to shine on its own.
