According to Mike Tindall's best mate James Haskell, Princess Anne wouldn't have been embarrassed over the trouser-splitting tale he regaled to his ImACeleb campmates.
The former rugby pro, who’s married to Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Phillips, divided fans with his story about embarrassing himself in front of his mother-in-law., who starred on the 2019 series of the show, insisted the Princess Royal won’t have ‘batted an eye’.
When asked by Richard Madeley whether he thinks Princess Anne would have been offended by Mike’s story, James responded: ‘No, not at all.‘I think it was a joke and it was funny, and what it’s done is, now I’ve heard that, I’ve gone, “Wow, not only did I have the utmost respect for her, but she’s gone a sense of humour and she’s put somebody back in their place.’supports HTML5 video
‘It was a disco 70s themed party, I was dancing on the dancefloor, I had like, flares on, full outfit, but it was quite tight, nothing ever fits – rugby player’s bum and legs – so I was dancing with my mother-in-law and I did a sl*t drop in front of my mother-in-law,’ he recalled.
