The Duke of Cambridge helped launch akt's new YouthSpace in Hoxton, and met with staff, volunteers, and young people.
Speaking to one young person, he said,"I think you really don’t start thinking about that until you are a parent, and I think: obviously absolutely fine by me."However, he admitted he is concerned about potential"backlash" and how his kids' sexualities would be"interpreted and seen" in their public roles as members of the royal family. He noted that he and Duchess Kate"have been doing a lot of talking about it to make sure they were prepared.
