Prince William and Kate Middleton's Next Royal Tour Will Be Their 'Most Complex' Yet
While in the country later this month, the couple plans to"take in Pakistan's rich culture, its diverse communities, and its beautiful landscapes." We're pretty sure they're going to get some great opportunities to sample the local cuisine. Hopefully Will can handle it!
We're sure Will and Kate will be just fine, and we love that they're headed to a more"sensitive" area.According to the statement, they want to"largely focus on showcasing Pakistan as it is today -- a dynamic, aspirational and forward-looking nation." It's a highly volatile area of the world, and we hope that Will and Kate can bring some awareness to help empower the Pakistani people.
"Throughout the tour, Their Royal Highnesses will visit programs which empower young people, and organizations that help ensure they have the best possible start in life," the statement read."Access to quality education, particularly to girls and young women, is one of the U.K.’s top priorities in Pakistan. The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to spending time meeting young Pakistanis, and hearing more about their aspirations for the future.
