Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton attended Holocaust Memorial Day in the U.K. on January 27th to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The couple had an emotional reunion with Holocaust survivors, Yvonne Bernstein and Steven Frank, whom they previously met at Kensington Palace in 2020. William delivered a poignant speech, acknowledging the bravery of survivors and vowing to never forget their stories. Kate also focused on the survivors and their experiences.
Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton stepped out for Holocaust Memorial Day in the U.K. and had an emotional reunion.
“It’s so nice to see you,” Kate could be heard saying to Bernstein, 87, while greeting her with a warm embrace, according to video footage obtained by Hello! Magazine. She also sat down next to Frank, 89, and held on to him as they shared hellos.
