Prince William, Princess Kate, and Princess Beatrice attended the traditional katb al-kitab ceremony for Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and architect Rajwa Alseif.
Kate wore a dusty rose Elie Saab gown, and Beatrice wore a silver gown by Needle and Thread. The couples sat in the crowd for the traditional katb al-kitab ceremony, where the marriage contract was signed. In a nearby ancient Roman amphitheater,watched a livestream of the event and cheered for the couple upon signing. Later, William and Kate greeted Hussein and Rajwa with hugs.
The wedding also holds significance for the Jordanian royal family, who has spent the last few years in that ultimately led to legal battles. “It’s not just a marriage, it’s the presentation of the future king of Jordan,” political analystHussein is a graduate of Georgetown University and Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, and currently serves as a captain in Jordan’s armed forces.
